A Two Faced Deal
This is a story illustrated and written by me. I have always been enamored with illustrated books, so when the idea came I ran with it. I went a bit wild with the amount I drew and wrote together. I plan to continue this project into the future as a series.
Planning
Started by drawing all my sketches by hand, figuring out the face, and then posing for my characters and in the process giving them a name and characteristics, things that would help during the writing process.
This large scene illustration acts as the front cover made to wrap around the zine entirely. It showcases certain details that foreshadow the content of the book.
Construction
Everything in this book was custom designed by me. The Cover is designed to wrap around the font and connect to the back with the end pages matching the design but with more detail. The map was painstakingly detailed and drawn with custom icons representing towns, small kingdoms, and danger areas all across.
Illustrations
Containing over 25 original illustrations throughout the book itself here are some of the more notable ones that worked through showing my character creation and scene illustrations.
